Quality requirements and construction methods: The physical properties of permeable floor tiles should comply with the CC35 superior product requirements in JC/T945-2005 "Permeable Bricks" and JC446-2000 "Concrete Road Tiles" standards. The compressive strength should not be less than 35MPa, the compressive strength of a single block should not be less than 31MPa, the average flexural strength should not be less than 3.5MPa, and the frost resistance should be evaluated based on 3 years of practical use, with the tile maintaining the above performance indicators as the standard for qualified evaluation. The block size is 300mm in length, 300mm in width, and 140mm in thickness, while the small size is 100mm in length, 100mm in width, and 45mm in thickness. (2) The raw materials for permeable bricks can be porcelain, hard pottery, excellent concrete granules, rubber granules, broken glass, etc. Excellent single particle granules can ensure that permeable bricks have good permeability as precursors. Fine powder, clay sand, and needle packing will greatly affect the permeability, frost resistance, and service life of the floor tiles.
(3) Water absorption rate: The average water absorption rate of permeable bricks should not exceed 160kg/m3. (Note: Water absorption rate and permeability are two completely different concepts, and a well permeable brick floor does not necessarily have a high water absorption rate.).
(4) Permeable bricks should not only have a certain degree of permeability, but also have good anti slip function and decorative effect. The permeability of permeable floors depends on the permeability of the brick body and the permeability of the brick joints. In practical use, their permeability, anti slip performance, and decorative effect should also be considered.
(5) Color retention. High quality floor tiles should have good color retention performance, and the pigments used are preferably oxidized iron inorganic pigments. For light colored concrete permeable bricks, when it is necessary to use white cement as the binding material, gray cement should be used as the base material as much as possible, and white cement should be used as the surface material for composite pressure vibration forming technology to maintain good color retention and compressive strength of the pavement bricks, and avoid serious "white birch" phenomenon.
(6) Laying method. There are generally four ways to weave rectangular (Dutch long) floor tiles, and different laying methods not only produce different decorative effects, but also greatly affect the mechanical properties of the ground. For heavy-duty ground, the "herringbone" laying method at a 45 degree angle to the direction of traffic has better mechanical properties, while the "one" and "basket" laying methods are generally only suitable for sidewalks and bike lanes.
