Hydraulic bricks

The five specific steps of the construction plan: 1. Preparation of the site: The surface of the soil foundation needs to be compacted and leveled, and strict leveling is very important from a technical or aesthetic perspective. If the soil quality of the site is poor and difficult to compact or level, a layer of crushed stone cushion can be used. The surface of the leveled hydraulic brick should not be affected by personnel or instruments that may affect its flatness.
2. Laying geotextile: It is necessary to lay filter geotextile that meets local soil requirements. Geotextile can replace the gravel filter layer in most cases, but the gravel cushion layer cannot be omitted when the pavement system is subjected to wave loads. Geotextile allows water to seep out, reducing the pressure on the paving system of hydraulic bricks while preventing soil piping in the foundation. Avoid overlapping between two geotextiles at the joint of two slope protection brick pads.
3. Bricklaying: In order to improve construction accuracy and speed, concrete blocks are generally connected with ropes to form pads suitable for the project size at the production plant or on site, and installed on the prepared soil foundation in one go using a crane specific extension grid. The slope protection brick cushion laid on the slope needs to bury a part of the bricks in the soil at the top and anchor them with ropes in the soil. At the bottom, a trench can be dug to bury a part of the bricks in the soil or a certain length of cushion can be spread on the surface of the riverbed. By adopting effective lifting methods, the mat can also be laid underwater.

4. Joint filling: After laying the bricks, fill the gaps with graded crushed stones, which can greatly improve the stability of the paving system.
5. Grass planting: A layer of natural soil can be spread on the surface of bricks above the normal water surface, and then flowers and plants suitable for the local climate environment can be planted.
