Due to its rich patterns and bright colors, it quickly became popular throughout Europe and became a trend in architecture at that time.
Due to Guangzhou being at the forefront of openness, cement flower terrace bricks were gradually introduced in the 1920s. Initially, it should be used in buildings such as consulates and foreign companies. Afterwards, it became popular in Western style Xiguan mansions and Dongshan small western-style houses, and later also used in ordinary residential buildings.
